EMOTION is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program funded by the European Commission that educates the future generation of translational scientists in the skin health & care sector.

EMOTION is a 2-year English-taught program that involves the Università del Piemonte Orientale (Novara, ITALY), the Universitad Miguel Hernández (Elche, SPAIN) and the Université de Namur (Namur, BELGIUM) and delivers a double degree.

🧪Laboratory Activities Successfully Completed! 🧪
Over the past months, students in the Formulations and Quality Control Analysis Laboratories had the opportunity to develop a wide range of products entirely from scratch, building each formulation ingredient by ingredient and phase by phase. 👩🔬✨
From dermatological and pharmaceutical preparations to suncare products, foundations, face powders, lip products, and body care formulations, the laboratories provided a comprehensive hands-on experience across different formulation fields.
👏 It has been inspiring to see students put their knowledge into practice, strengthen their technical skills, and gain valuable experience in pharmaceutical sciences.
A special thank you to the industry professionals at Intercos Group and Ibrahim George Hanno for sharing their expertise, and to the dedicated UPO staff Lorella Giovannelli, Yassine and all the lab technicians whose support, commitment, and collaboration made these activities possible.

Taking part in the workshop organized by Kialab is always a pleasure for our students.
The laboratory session gave students hands-on experience in developing a topical dosage form from scratch, working with different formulation phases and excipients while observing how ingredient selection, order of addition, and temperature influence the final product’s properties.
