Taking part in the workshop organized by Kialab is always a pleasure for our students.
The laboratory session gave students hands-on experience in developing a topical dosage form from scratch, working with different formulation phases and excipients while observing how ingredient selection, order of addition, and temperature influence the final product’s properties.
A sincere thank you to the Kialab team for sharing their expertise and supporting this valuable learning opportunity. 🙏 We also thank our laboratory technicians for their assistance and contribution to the successful organization of the workshop. 👏

❓ Have you ever wondered why our skin ages? Although wrinkles and fine lines are a natural part of life, the science behind skin aging is far more fascinating than it seems.
In this article, published in the students’ magazine, Alma explores the role of telomeres, tiny protective structures within our cells that are deeply connected to cellular aging and skin health. ✨
Understanding how telomeres function could open new perspectives in dermatology, anti-aging research, and skincare innovation.

🧴🔬As part of the Dermatology course led by Prof Zavattaro, students participated in an extra educational activity consisting of a visit to Ganassini Corporate, an Italian company specialized in dermatological, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical research.
During the visit, students learned about the company’s history, research activities, product development process, and role in the field of dermocosmetics and skincare.
A special thanks to our alumna Martina for presenting the company, sharing her professional experience, and guiding the group throughout the institute.✨
The activity provided students with the opportunity to observe how concepts studied during the course are applied in an industrial and research setting related to dermatology and skincare. 🧪📚
