The creation of a vibrant EMOTION Students and Alumni Club (ESAC) underscores our commitment to enhancing EMOTION Master connections, striving for the program excellence, and maintaining a strong bond with the ever-growing community of EMOTION graduates.
- This initiative aims at bringing together our global community of Alumni and current Students and serves as a dynamic platform to offer an array of thrilling opportunities, from establishing connections with individuals worldwide to fostering mutual support in professional pursuits.
- As an information hub, ESAC showcases Alumni achievements, internship experiences, and current roles across various research areas, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of our curriculum and the incredible paths of our graduates.
- ESAC serves as a catalyst enabling the EMOTION family to reconnect, share experiences, and collectively celebrate our shared journey. Additionally, it hosts networking events to establish connections with professionals beyond the EMOTION community.

Shital Bhanushali - Emotion alumna and ESAC founder
With a research background in biotechnology and epigenetics, Shital is currently working on developing a first-of-its-kind revolutionary sustainable biotechnology-based hair dye – ‘EnzyChroma’. The goal is to make the hair colouring experience sustainable by mitigating the adverse effects of hair dye application. This innovative initiative has received accolades at several forums like ‘Most innovative initiative in Biotechnology Sector’ by the Association of Biotechnology Companies of the Province of Alicante (AEBA), top 10 National Finalist at Santander X Spain Awards and a recognition award by Laboratories Quinton & BIOVAL at the Start-up Pitch Competition “Innocosmética” organized by the AINIA technology centre and the Scientific Park of the Miguel Hernández University, Elche.
From securing the prestigious European Commission-funded Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Scholarship to founding the EMOTION Student and Alumni Club (ESAC) and building a community of 100+ globally-diversified students to nurture cross-border connections; from being among L’Oreal Brandstorm’s 2024 top 10 ideas in Spain and Portugal, to being selected as a BeVisioneers-The Mercedes Benz fellow, she has exemplified international leadership calibre at both academic and entrepreneurial levels.
She is also a national award-winning science communicator having previously worked with Vigyan Prasar, DST, and CSIR on the Government of India’s flagship initiatives like Jigyasa, TechNeev@75, and ISTI Portal.
